A Montana ranching family faces off against others who encroach on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is an expert in the rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) seems to frequently “forget” his Montana accent and reverts to the Southern California voice he often uses. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 Summer TV Shows That Aren’t On Your Radar (2018). I don’t think anyone does westerns better than Kevin Costner, and with Taylor Sheridan writing, it’s a win-win situation. Check out “Wind River” for an example of what Taylor Sheridan can do. Where has Cole Hauser been hiding? It’s amazing. I guess the daughter is a necessary part, but she goes overboard by being a bitch. The scenery is fantastic, and being from Colorado, I can really appreciate the vast, beautiful land. Do yourself a favor and get hooked on this series, because it’s going to be a hit.
