The DC Studios logo is placed in a rainy Gotham alley
EnglishFollowing the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, attempts to take over the Gotham crime world. From melting makeup to filming in freezing temperatures, Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti talk about getting into character while filming “The Penguin.” Colin Farrell fought to have his version of the Penguin smoke tobacco in The Batman (2022) but was unsuccessful. For his own series, however, the character is depicted as a casual tobacco user, with a preference for cigars.
An umbrella falls and the logo transforms into the Warner Bros
logo. Starring in Graham Norton and the Fans: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024). I thought Colin Farrell was great as the Penguin in Batman, but I never understood why they cast a skinny, good-looking actor in shape and put a huge prosthetic leg and a big suit on him…
But after episode 1, I will confirm that this series is amazing (so far)
especially when I think he looks like other famous actors who would have been just as good. I didn’t really understand why this spin-off came out, and to be honest, I’m just tired of Batman reboots. I only watched it knowing that it was a necessary bridge to watch between the first and second movies, and I was surprised to see Farrell in the role in the first one.
But I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did
The acting is great, the writing is superb, and it surprised me with some quick twists. The most appreciated thing was the fact that there was a lot more color in this movie than in Batman. I noticed this almost immediately, as it was a huge complaint of mine about the movie (I felt like I was watching it through Zack Snyder’s prism).
