Brussels teacher Amala encourages students’ passion for reading and freedom of expression, despite the risks. Her bold approach leaves an impression on students and families. It’s not easy, but it’s tough, and it makes you think about home. What have we done wrong? So she’s a really idealistic literature teacher in a suburban school district in Brussels. She seems to get into trouble and becomes the target of a powerful group of hostile students, as well as some teachers with links to Islamic extremism. During the hostilities, the passionate teacher decides to help a Muslim teenager who is accused of homosexuality by her colleagues. Unfortunately, things take an increasingly strange and dangerous turn, in an unfair war.
