Tolkien The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Tolkien’s novels were proposed as adaptations of the series (actually Gospodar prstenova: Prstenova druzina (2001), Gospodar prstenova: Dvije kule (2002) and Gospodar prstenova: Povratak kralja (2003) )), but the Tolkien estate rejected this proposal. Amazon eventually acquired the rights on the condition that the series diverge from Peter Jackson’s previous adaptations and that nothing contradicts Tolkien’s previous works. Initial ideas included backstories with characters such as Aragorn, Gimli, and Gandalf, but the showrunners wanted to focus on important, untold events in the novels’ history rather than simple subplots, so they agreed with the studio that the series should be in principle. Since they did not have the rights to Tolkien’s The Silmarillion, The Unfinished Tales, and The History of Middle-earth (which cover the first and second eras), they looked to the Lord of the Rings novels and appendices for passages and references. the second age in which they could embed their history.

But that’s about it
Starring in The Critical Drinker: The Rings of Power – War For A Fandom (2022). Visually and technically very good. I’m not saying Clark is a bad actress, but Steven Segal has more impersonations. Maybe the director told him to do what we see on screen. The scenario is even worse.
It’s like someone wrote how a five-year-old plays with Lord of the Rings dolls
And in order for everyone to understand what the five-year-old was playing, the dialogue repeatedly tells what is happening. Personally, I see Tolkien’s books as a simplification of Richard Wagner’s opera The Ring or The Ring of the Nibelung. So my rating for the source material is relatively low, but this show is a waste of money, resources, and time for everyone who watches and worked on it. Take time to watch Richard Wagner, read Tolkien’s books, play video games, watch Andor, or take a walk. See the cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power in all their most famous roles, from Morfydd Clark in Saint Maud to Benjamin Walker in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and more.
