Plot
It follows a group of military supermen, consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Series writer and creator James Gunn appears in the opening credits at a laptop typing a script. .

He appeared in AniMat Crazy Cartoon Cast: The Return of the King (of the Hill) (2023). There are only 3 episodes left and I’m already hooked. They’ve done a great job with the casting, voice acting, writing, and even the music.
Which I think is a great way to start
Not only are the songs great, but they’re appropriate and build on the story. In the few episodes I’ve seen, the characters have developed depth and personality. They’re putting less emphasis on the main plot for now, so they can tell the backstory of each character, which continues to drive their development as a team and individually.

While that’s happening, I don’t even notice how little the main plot is progressing, the series is full of if comic relief, but you also feel like you’re connecting with the characters. They’re not perfect or boring. I definitely recommend this show and I’m excited to see where it goes.
